Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Human on Wi-Fi collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, applications, and services.

Human on Wi-Fi is operated by Technologies HISTO inc.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

1. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Email address and account details
  • Authentication and verification information
  • Account preferences and subscription status
  • Messages, prompts, screenshots, images, and files you submit
  • Communications sent through our contact form
  • Technical information needed to operate and secure the service

Passwords are not stored in readable form. They are protected using one-way password hashing.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the Human on Wi-Fi service
  • Generate reflections, pattern analysis, and responses
  • Maintain accounts, sessions, and saved chats
  • Process image and screenshot requests
  • Manage subscriptions and account access
  • Send verification, password-reset, and service emails
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and security threats
  • Maintain reliability and improve product performance
  • Respond to support, privacy, and account requests

We do not sell your personal data. We do not mine your chats or uploads for marketing purposes or share them with marketing companies.

Operational service providers process information needed for hosting, email delivery, response processing, payments and security, as described below.

3. Messages, images, and screenshots

Content you submit is processed only as needed to provide the service.

Images and screenshots may be temporarily processed by our application infrastructure and the response-processing systems described below. Uploaded files are not published, added to a public gallery, or used to create a public profile.

Temporary uploaded files are removed after processing under normal operating conditions.

Verified free accounts can analyze three screenshots per UTC day, with up to two images per send and a 5 MB limit per image. A successful send uses one message from the existing message allowance. Failed or rejected analyses do not use the screenshot allowance. We store account-linked UTC-day counts and temporary reservations to enforce this limit. Paid plans retain their existing message allowances.

Chat history stays saved across sign-out, sign-in and password recovery for free and paid accounts. Free chats retain up to 100 stored messages per thread; paid chats retain up to 1,000. Recent messages provide conversation context, while separately saved memory features depend on your plan. Deleting a chat removes its live messages and linked assessment result; separately saved account memories and historical backup copies may remain.

4. How coaching works

Human on Wi-Fi is AI-powered coaching software, not a human coach. It uses artificial intelligence to generate responses from the information you provide.

Responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for some situations. Human on Wi-Fi is a reflection and guidance tool. It is not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, legal advice, or a replacement for qualified professional support.

5. Cookies and authentication

We use cookies and authentication tokens to:

  • Keep users signed in
  • Confirm age eligibility
  • Protect accounts and sessions
  • Provide access to plan-specific features
  • Maintain service security

Authentication cookies are configured with security protections designed to reduce unauthorized access and cross-site misuse.

Optional conversion analytics

A separate choice, Allow conversion analytics, lets PostHog in the United States measure assessment starts and completions, successful email verification, verified paid subscriptions and renewals, subscription status, and days with a successfully saved coach response. A response is an activity signal, not a claim that coaching helped. We use a random measurement label and keep its account link privately on our server. We do not send names, emails, account IDs, assessment answers or results, messages, screenshots, authentication tokens or payment details. This does not connect the separate public-visit labels to your account. No automatic interaction capture, replay or person profiles are enabled.

Your conversion choice lasts up to 180 days. If you consent before signup, the private link allows successful verification on another device and later server-confirmed billing events to be counted. Activity before consent is not backfilled. Trial and complimentary access are not counted as paid conversion. Paid coverage and coach-response activity are measured separately. Use Conversion analytics choices on this site to withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops future collection and removes queued unsent events; it does not delete events already received by PostHog. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also stop collection when received. An unconsented browser does not contribute coach-response activity.

Optional public visit analytics

With your permission, PostHog in the United States measures visits to our homepage, pricing, contact, terms and privacy pages. It receives the public page path, site name, time, fixed source/channel labels and random browser and session labels. We remove URL queries and fragments and never send raw referrers. This measurement does not include chat, assessment or account pages, form contents, emails, account identifiers or payment details. Session replay, automatic interaction capture, console logs and person profiles are not enabled by this integration.

Choose Allow visit analytics or Decline visit analytics on a public page. You can change your choice using Analytics choices there. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Your choice is stored on this browser for 180 days. After permission, a random browser label lasts up to 90 days and a random session label expires after 30 minutes without a measured pageview. Declining removes those labels and stops future collection; it does not delete events already received. PostHog receives a network connection from your browser; the event requests disable IP-based location enrichment. We do not connect this measurement to your account or use it to mine private content for marketing.

6. Security and encryption

Human on Wi-Fi uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information.

These safeguards include:

  • HTTPS and TLS encryption for information transmitted between your browser and our service
  • Secure authentication cookies
  • One-way password hashing
  • Server-side authorization and access controls
  • Rate limiting and abuse protection
  • File-type and upload-size validation
  • Security headers and browser protections
  • Cloudflare security verification
  • Restricted server storage and private application directories
  • Stripe-hosted payment processing

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid submitting information they do not want processed through an internet-based service.

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Human on Wi-Fi does not directly store your complete payment-card details. Stripe handles payment information according to its own security and privacy practices.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal.

8. Service providers and infrastructure

We may use trusted service providers to operate Human on Wi-Fi, including:

  • Hosting and server infrastructure
  • Database and application services
  • Response-processing providers
  • Email delivery providers
  • Payment processors
  • Security and verification services
  • Monitoring and reliability tools

These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations.

9. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the service
  • Maintain user accounts
  • Support paid features
  • Meet legal and operational obligations
  • Prevent abuse and fraud
  • Resolve disputes
  • Maintain security and reliability

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, account status, subscription plan, and legal requirements.

Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or unused database storage until it is overwritten or removed through normal maintenance processes.

10. Your privacy choices

You may contact us at any time to request:

  • Access to your personal information
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Export of eligible account data
  • Deletion of your account
  • Deletion of eligible stored chats, saved memory, uploaded content, and personal information
  • Information about how your data is processed
  • Assistance with a privacy or security concern

You may request deletion of your account and eligible personal data at any time. This can include stored chats, saved memory, uploaded content, and account information, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period. Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.

11. Adults only

Human on Wi-Fi is intended only for adults aged 18 and older.

The service is not designed for children or minors, and we do not knowingly provide accounts to anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, technology, or legal requirements change.

When we make material changes, we will update the date shown at the top of this policy and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
